Color emoji support when generating a PDF?

Several years ago, you said:

MS Word uses Segoe UI Emoji font for the emojis. The coloring information is stored in the color table of the font. Aspose.Words does not support this table yet.

Is the color table of Segoe UI Emoji still unsupported?

Is the color of Noto Color Emoji font also unsupported?

Is there any way of preserving a color emoji from Word to PDF?

@DeanEq

Can you please specify which version of Aspose.Words you are currently using and if you have encountered any specific issues with color emojis in your documents?

@DeanEq
We have opened the following new ticket(s) in our internal issue tracking system and will deliver their fixes according to the terms mentioned in Free Support Policies.

Issue ID(s): WORDSNET-22379

You can obtain Paid Support Services if you need support on a priority basis, along with the direct access to our Paid Support management team.

Aspose.Words Version=“24.12.0”.

‘Segoe UI Emoji’ font emojis appear in color in the Word document, however when converted to PDF (on Windows) they render as basic black and white glyphs, or empty black rectangles. Using HarfBuzz made no difference.

@DeanEq Unfortunately, Aspose.Words does not support color fonts. I have linked your request to the appropriate issue. We will keep you updated and let you know once this feature is implemented.

Thanks for letting me know.
